The Big Bang Theory Of God s Word - 3237 Words

As we all grow up we tend to believe what we want to believe in. If God gave us a brain to think, would going against the Bible be wrong? We have all heard the complicated question, did God make the earth in six days or did evolution play a major part in the making of earth. Many people in the older days would be judge or even killed to even think this, but as science with factual evidence develope, we are start to fit all the missing pieces together. Although is factual evidence enough to flash light in a questionable thousand year old statement, or can this these missing puzzle pieces be overlooked with believing in God’s word. This undecided question many never be answered with leaders of religion and evolutionist with the same†¦show more content†¦Radioustionomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1965 discovered that a cosmic microwave background (CMB) is in our space. This cosmic microwave is the leftover radiation of the Big Bang. This CMB was discovered to be 2.725 degrees Kelvin or -454 degrees Fahrenheit. When this cosmic light was released millions of years ago the temperature of it was has hot has the surface of a star and since then has stretched out, cooling it down. The Big Bang is only a theory, yet is the most popular mostly because it has many points that can be proven with evidence. After the Big Bang, gravity started to gather dust, gas and small asteroids to form the of planets including the earth. The earth was just a big ball of molten rock, nothing compared to what it is today. During this time the earth had no moon, no oxygen and also spinning on its axis four times the speed of present time. Clearly the earth was impossible to support life; much less to start to begin to form it too. It took thousand of years after the Big Bang for the earth to actually start forming. Many people believe that meteors with water crystals in them, hit earth cooling the surface off. The first eon of earth was the Haelea Eon. Which during this time, â€Å"earth may have been hellish’ claims planetary scientist Simone Marchia. Mostly because of earth always being hit by asteroids and comets, it seemed earth was on big rock in flames. Yet earth that time wasn’t all

There were many things to be done so they divided work up among everyone in the small community. This was the very beginning of the way we live today. The Paleolithic Age is the Old Stone Age ending in 1200 B. C. E. were stone tools were used for hunting and gathering. People used tools such as clubs and choppers to crack open bones. Tools in this era were mainly made to use for shelter, defense, and keepings of food and clothing. This is the era where people began to develop social groups and create civilizations and stop moving from place to place. Stated in the document 4 people began to depend more on animals and less on plants. They followed herds of animals instead of just one to get more food and eventually create a surplus. The animals that they herded gave them the fertilizer for agriculture. In document 5 it says that there were settled farming communities and they began to create a council to make decisions on what to harvest. Settled people had more personal property. Risk and Return Analysis Inception and Retract Ltd

Question: Discuss about theRisk and Return Analysisfor Inception and Retract Ltd. Answer: An investor undertakes risk to maximize his returns. Risk is measured by the standard deviation of returns of the stock and returns are the average returns over a period of time. An investor normally invests in more than one stock to diversify his portfolio in order to minimize his risk and maximize his returns. However, the choice of stocks in the portfolio depends on the stocks returns, their individual risk and correlations between the stocks in the portfolio (McGraw-Hill, NA) In the present scenario, stocks of two companies Inception and Retract Ltd. have been considered and both the stocks have been analysed with respect to the market and to each other to see their combination in a portfolio. The table presenting the statistical measures of the stocks is given below: Market index Inception Retract Ltd Expected Returns 1.40% 5.24% 2.85% Standard deviation 5.44% 16.84% 18.91% Coefficient of variation 3.89 3.21 6.64 Correlation coefficient -0.02 Portfolio standard deviation 1.57% Beta 1.55 1.76 The expected returns for Inception are the highest; even Retract Ltd. has returns more than the market. This makes both the stocks worth the investment as they are giving on an average high returns. The stocks of Retract Ltd. are more risky as it has a higher standard deviation as compared to Inception. This has increased the coefficient of variation for the stocks of Retract as it has higher risk and comparatively lower return. This means Retract stocks have higher degree of volatility as compared to Inception. In fact, the degree of volatility of Inception is lower than that of the market making it an attractive investment. Correlation coefficient measures the movement of two stocks i.e. whether they move in the same directions or opposite directions. It ranges from -1 to 1 (Russell, 2014) The above stocks have a negative correlation at -0.02 which means that when the price of one stock rises, the price of other stock will fall but the correlation is very weak and hence it can be said that the stocks are not much related. The portfolio standard deviation is quite low at 1.57% as compared to individual deviations. This is because negatively correlated stocks diversify the portfolio. If returns from one stock decreases, the returns from another will increase, thus not affecting the returns much. Lower the portfolio standard deviation, lower is the risk. Beta is the risk of the stock in relation to the market. Beta more than 1 means the stock is more responsive to the market risk. Retract Ltd. is more volatile as it has a higher beta of 1.76 which means that stocks of Retract are 76% more volatile than the market. Beta is a systematic risk and cannot be eliminated; hence, an investor should try to minimize his risk by diversifying his portfolio. In the above scenario, both stocks have a beta of more than 1, even though they are negatively correlated but the degree of correlation is very weak, hence, this will not help in diversifying the portfolio because a fall in the market returns will result in both stock returns falling with a higher percentage.
